You always bring the seasons to my ears and this one is no exception as the beers sleep during the cold winter with their thick coat to keep them warm, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Animals are so precise in their hibernation, starting early enough to ensure that they don't remain trapped awake when the bad weather really kicks in. This poem is timely, with an interesting illustration. Like you, I would also like to go to sleep and waken up to find that better time were upon us.

You did a great job with your renga, Gypsy. Its message is clear. The image choice works well, too. I love the quote you added in your notes. What a great way to sum up so many things' in a few well-chosen words.
Respectfully, Jan

Thank you for adding this 7-7 couplet and picture to the Renga Book. It appears quite symbolic considering the times we live in. I appreciate your trying to keep hope alive. Cheers- Joan

Very interesting and well-done way to embrace the 7-7 format.
It tells a story; something hard to do with the limitations of the format.
I loved the artwork: the bear and especially the litle human figure.
Really good job.
I don't know if this is for a contest, but if so, it is a strong entry.

Thank you very much for your review and kind words. It's not for a contest, it's for a multi-author book of Japanese poetry called Renga. You are welcome to try.

This is a very well written 7/7 couplet you have penned for the Renga book. You used very good descriptive words and very nice imagery. My friend please don't be discouraged. This life is but a swift vapor and the best part is yet to come when Jesus Christ appears for His bride. Just hang in there. love you, Teri

Yes, she had to make sure all was well before settling in for her long recuperative sleep.

Excellent addition to your Renga book and most cool artwork.

Yes Gypsy, we want the orange pumpkin head to go into permanent hibernation on November 3rd.

Like how you connected the bear hibernation idea and the Election. You chose appropriate artwork to accompany your renga contribution.

Amen to this! I am weary... Politics has stained my soul today. I am voting tomorrow and will be happy to use my voice as I pray more do than ever before... Change. Please!--Karenina

Another fine poem, Gypsy--and I'll feel so desolate, not to mention outraged, if on November Third Trump somehow is declared the winner--it was a shock on election day 2016, but this'll be so much worse

Trump's going to lose but God only knows what will happen after. It's a freaking nightmare. Thank you.
