Well done, and great advise. You need to do more than just talk, have to put action to your words. I am wondering if you left out the word "the" on first line and "it" so the line would read, Profitable it is to be in 'the' good book of God, you see, 'it' seems talking...

Primarily it feels like words are left out to achieve the word count, which drastically affects the flow of the piece, making it somewhat jerky or disjointed.

This article, For God Live Righteously, pretty much states that talk is cheap. Actions, those that honor God and are an example to others, are what separate the sayers from the players.
