I had a little chucjkle along with your clever poem and I can see where all your inspiration came from.
I also take BP medications daily and would rather not but when given the option -risk death or take a tab - there really was no choice.
you have habve done a great job at describing the lead up to , waiting for, and aftermath of a doctor's visit.

Funny, with excellent meter and rhyme. Not funny that your BP needed a chemical adjustment, but good that it's working. Well done as always, Steve. :) Nancy

The Ashes series was lost a few hours ago 5-0 to a rampant Aussie team that may stand a chance of beating the Kiwis if they haven't all retired before a next series is scheduled. Oops I didn't mean to mention it.
Now to your funny-as poem. It reads well off the page and your verses are filled with great gags, both blackout and white. I enjoyed the one about the old lady's near death experience. My favourite verse is the one about the Spiggo-thing. The best thing about it though is the overall impression it leaves of having been thoroughly entertained.

Thanks for the great review.
As for the cricket, we don't beat you often, but the joy when we do more than makes up for it. Kiwis are building a solid team at the moment but a little inconsistent. Poms were rubbish - South Africans may be a different story.
