I love how you wrote it near the end and the picture fits well. I Understand this poem very well because of the imagery you placed and the emotion you put into your words

This is a master piece. Written with lots of elegance, silence helps, cleanliness helps, nice way to try to find some piece of mind. Terry

Oh, this is a beautiful love story. It is a story of sadness in a way but true love and the things in life that really matter; the little things like the sticky notes. Giddy

Well, I can see why this was listed as an all time best! Fantastic job. So poetically descriptive. You are an accomplished writer. However, use the Silence and Stillness to cultivate even deeper spiritual awareness, for in Silence is the voice of God!

Beautiful. Simple, expressive, and visually rich with images.
"just one beautiful, doodled heart, scripted with "I love you" -
something to challenge my breathless boundaries."
Such eloquent loneliness. Thank you for sharing this.

Hi visionary,

This is an excellent heartfelt poem which resonates a bit with my situation at present. You have done an excellent job here of illustrating the yearning (I presume its yours) for a loved one. Thanks for sharing this with us (and me in particular) R.

I'm so sorry to hear that Raoul - are you okay my dear? Life is full of such rites of passage, isn't it?

Ouch, and ouch, again.

That is an impressive bit of writing. It pains me to read it, but I felt compelled to continue. Lovely use of language. painful images. The writer doesn't fool me, though she tries very hard to do so.

One of the best I've read in the poetry section.

Steven

Pain and emotion are what poetry is all about my dear, yes? If those are coming through to you, then I'm doing something right!
    Blessings,

This is a very interesting poem. I felt in this poem the price someone have to pay for love; the dishes, things being out of place etc. This is a well written poem, I liked the rhythm of it and your message is easy to understand.

aah yes, we do always make compromises, don't we? As long as they're in balance, we're ok, yes?

The lines "bereft of silly skyscrapers of congealing dishes in the sink" and "as I contemplate my bare creamy heartless walls" are original. The heart plays back to the heart sticky note and ties the thoughts together because it is no longer on the wall. Emptiness and tidiness do not compare to companionship and a messed up house to prove that someone is there sharing it with you. :0 GracieAnn

Heartbreaking ending but beautifully written poem
of a love that is no longer.
The specific details of past relationship give
the reader insight into speakers emotions.
