This is an amazing little poem that, despite the abundance of colour in its words, is so very black and white in its meaning. There is great clarity and storytelling in this poetic verse and i really enjoyed it.

I really, really like this. It seems that the "voice" in the poem is a poet, able to enter into other people's subjective emotional state. And the art work is outstanding.

Hmm. Well I'll say that these are the words of someone who is in the kind of relationship that has them living in their other half's shadow. And as the poem expresses, the only escape is through that other person's death. But then, the shadow would be at somewhat of a loss of what mask to wear then.
Troubling but powerful in its honesty.
