Your love poem is a beautiful tribute to your son Michael.
He looked like a very special little boy judging by the twinkle in his eyes. I am so sorry for your loss. The loss of a child is every mother's nightmare. I hate to think that you have had to endure this loss more than once.

oh, that certainly pulls at the heart strings. So sad that you lost him so young. Was reading your profile there and seems you've dealt with quite a bit of tragedy. Doesn't really make sense how some have to and others don't. Beautiful short poem.

I have asked myself that question many times throughout life..but there is no rhyme or reason to it. They say God doesn't give us more than we can handle, but sometimes I think we really need to have a long talk. Thanks so much! Carol

So finally you succeeded in downloading this picture! Ah, your Michael is so sweet. No wonder you dedicate this love poem to him. "Our love lives forever." Nothing is more sure than that!

Everyday I take his picture and that smile lights up my life. I may not have him here but I know he looks down and watches all the time. Thanks so much for your review. CArol

Begin Again,
Your short Biographical poem to your son was moving. I cried at such well written tribute to your son. If that's a photo of him, he was a beautiful boy with a great smile. The words you wrote are from your soul, a mothers undying love. Bless you and your precious memories. I too had a loss in my life, my sister Tchinina. She died at the age of 29 on May 2, 2009. She left behind a son who was 8, Brandon is now 15. I penned a poem where I say in a line about my sister: "My love for you, my soul sister; Tchinina, is exactly like pure sold gold." The poem was inspired by a song called "Hey Soul Sister" sung by Train. I've yet to post it
I'm giving this wonderful tribute love poem five stars. Good luck on the writing contest. Keep on writing.

I came up with a short poem just now that's kind of similar. I need to submit my love poem in 15 words less.
"To My Soul Sister: Tchinina." (15 Word Poem):
Soul sister, you enlightned my life.
My love for you is like pure solid gold.
Do you think that is a good one to submit for my short love poem?
Melissa.

That's good or how about...your love is worth more than gold or
your love is pure gold or your love, my pot of gold
-
How about this:
Soul sister you enlightned my life.
You're love will always be worth pure solid gold.
Melissa.

That's good or
Your love, worth more than pure solid gold
-
You have the wrong you're in your poem Your is right

Oops,
Typo:
I should read:
A Tribute to My Soul Sister (15 Word Poem)
Soul sister you enlightned my life. Your love will always be worth pure solid gold.
Melissa.
Thanks for catching that, I have a new computer with windows 7, ny old one bit the dust. Never buy a refurbished computer.

What a beautiful and wonderful poem. I've often felt that the worst thing that could happen to a parent is to loose a child. Thank God, that hasn't happened to me. Your poem is touching and beautiful. I do have one thought for you to consider. I think perhaps the "h" in heaven should be capitalized. Thank you for sharing your poem. M

Your short love poem was not only endearing, but also filled with the abiding love that exists between a loving parent and child. Nicely done.

Begin Again. First off, I love your user I.D. name. It is awesome. This short poem is just heart-wrenching to me. I cannot imagine losing my son or daughter. I am so sorry. I just lost my brother-in-law, in the wee hours of this morning. It is tough, but he was very sick in the end and now in a much better place and out of pain now. I posted a new poem in his memory this morning. It already got 2 reviews, so I am reviewing away to make member dollars to put a certificate on it, thanks for shring, kathy58

Hello Begin Again,
This poem reads and flows well and I have no suggestion for improvement. Lucky is the one who has an Angel from Heaven to love ... now and forever.
