Lovely, both picture and poem. It is a great contender in the contest. Good luck in the contest. I like the play on words in the end. Double meaning, Clesver. Blessings, Barbara

I love the artwork you chose for your poem
I image the scent floating in the cool breezes for a season
I glad some one bottle it up I use scented lotion for my body and have the powder and perfume to match. I even have Laverne room spray.
Thank you for sharing.

A very cleverly fashioned haiku, with a masterpiece pun (mistresspiece?) for a satori!
Brava, Janet!
Don
(The FS system insists the review needs an additional forty-four characters, so this should be enough to satisfy the mindless thing.)

It is hard to write 44 characters for short poems - so happy that you did.

You did a good job with this word play. The image you chose is stunning and you paired your words well. That Roma therapy would certainly work well! Hugs, Lou

A very well-written haiku about lavender fields all over Italy and the lovely aroma that hangs in the air wherever the lavender are found. My favorite choice as well.

What a charming poem, and what a lovely an unexpected pun. I'm not used to seeing puns used in Haiku, but you definitely made this work. Your lines flow smoothly into one another and, of course, the picture is the perfect enhancement.

Hello JMF, A purple, and humorous Haiku! I think your word-play is really cute, a-Roma-therapy... lol very good. I do love Lilac, one of my favorite scents. (Did you know that the oil will all but eliminate a new burn? Keep it in the kitchen!) Good luck in the contest!

I had to tear myself away from the beautiful artwork. The poem is just as lovely. You have used all of your syllables effectively to create a descriptive, clever haiku!
