There are all manner of contests, not its 15 word and that is better than six word. But then there is a syllables. Wow! I find the picture sort of conflicts, not exactly the picture but the writing on the photo is a big distraction. I like the poem, it carries familiar words from proverbs I've heard. It carries a good message. Good luck in the contest

This is a fine poem. If it were this simple then I think your poem would be all we need. I "give" in a certain way and never feel it is acknowledged. That's okay, I will continue to give. I can "afford" to. Some can't. It probably kills some and yet I do not see that acknowledged.
It think you use too many words here -- that may be a part of the requirement.
Give always
Expect nothing
be forever.
Says a seer!
There is my compressed version of your message, one I try to adhere to.
Thanks

What a simple and beautiful poem, well done! I agree with the sentiment that you put forth here, true happiness comes from a marriage between being totally content with what we have and a willingness to give it away to anyone in need out of kindness.

This fifteen-word poem, The Secret of Happiness, presented in four lines, reminds us that giving is good and so much better when it's never thought to be returned in kind.

Such a beautiful message in those 15 words -- don't actually even need a seer if one were just to try it for a few days! :) ;) A wonderful entry for the contest!
Thank you so very much for sharing and good luck! :)

It is true, to give feels good, whether that is the giving of your time to help out another or the giving of material things to those who are in need. I'd say a simple thank you would not be too much to expect though : )) Good luck!

Jesus famously said that "there is more happiness in giving than in receiving." While not everyone is blessed with material riches, we are all in possession of a bright and welcoming smile, kind words that upbuild and uplift as well as acts of kindness that do not require material wealth but are more fulfilling than a quarter or dollar which is quickly spent and just as soon forgotten.
