It is true that most of as youth are innocent and can believe that Heaven awaits us all, and as true that as we pass through the challenges life poses we have to find a faith in ourselves, but when confronted by death itself we revert back to that innocent faith. I pray that return to innocence will come to fruition, for my husband awaits for me there.

A very well-written faith poem. When fear comes to knock at our door it is time to send faith to open the door and fear will not enter at all. Fear comes from the enemy and is not welcome where faith lives.

Thank you for sharing. My favorite part of this poem is the thought behind it. I can relate to having a recent health scare and having to rely on faith to keep you moving. My suggestion would be to attempt to even out the meter. I see you have entered a Faith poetry contest and see no reason why this poem wouldn't qualify. Good luck with your contest entry!
