Astounding interesting poem about the meaning of life.
Written in excellent style and meaningful imagery , deep thinking
I find myself having more questions than answers as times goes by.
A pleasure to read. Pili

This is a pretty poem. Yes, life begins and in what seems like a moment it has passed before our eyes. My only goal in life is to make my life useful for God. Great job!

Nicely done, Sharyn. I felt the rhythm of the waltz and pictured our souls, our essence swirling through time with no beginning and no end. I particularly loved incoming tides just the breath of the ocean - very original. Hugs, Lou

Excellent artwork complements your poem. Thanks for your foot note, I needed that, you did as this told us. It's a well written ABAB poem about life and more. I admire it has the rhythm of waltz. Best wishes for the contest.

welcome, did you not get so many messages? I wrote to Tom and he asked which one, so I referred to you, Ine

no, it's never happened again, Ine. I remember this happened several months ago with Rondeno, too - but it happened to several people, not just me. Weird, hmm? :)

I'd need a class to understand all the directions, you're much smarter than I. Now to the poem, This was a very enjoyable read. I had no problem moving from one picture to another as you painted them with words for me. Good job. God loves you and I do too.

Forget the directions and just sing it Evelyn - I only put the techie bits in there for people who are interested/ learning etc - you don't really need them to understand the poem (hopefully!)

This is an amazingly enjoyable read, Sharyn, and I can strongly relate to your words. Love the way the first part incorporates language of a child (tickly) to match the era you are talking about and the magic you bring to the ending. Definitely a six, so apologies that the site won't allow it, my friend.

Kindest of regards,

Julie :0)

So many questions aren't there? This brought up a lot of my own thoughts of late. It has a way of making them come front and center, asking the questions that are on my mind as well. I felt a familiar kinship to many of the word pictures that come from your work, like laying on your back looking up at the stars and taking it all for granted, until later when you begin to wonder why. This is a good and thoughtful poem. I enjoyed reading it.

Thank God we only have to answer young people questions. By their teenage years, they have all the answers. I enjoyed you poem. It is very well written.
