Oh, I really liked this one. It flowed incredibly well while also emitting an important message that we should all take to heart. Great job and good luck in the contest!

Excellent poem contest entry. We all feel discomfort in some cases. I think it is a part of life. I like this poem. Good luck in the contest! Excellent work!

It's written that faith and fear are the opposite ends of the spectrum, fear imprisones, but faith releases, well done, this is an excellent post and entry in this four line poetry contest, well done, blessings, Roy

A Philosophy of life that is well written with a few short words. Some people know it, some people don't, that your life is always living on the edge. Sometimes it's by choice and other times it's just happenstance. Very thought-provoking poem, that you have here. I enjoyed it.

After reading this I feel like I can do whatever I set my mind too, nothing is impossible. As long as I don't give up or let my thoughts restrict me, everything possible is within my grasp!

I suspect you've done some things since your kids were born that you might have had trepidation about prior, no? Thanks for the kind review, Linda!

I think I became more aware of my life...and theirs...if something happen to me...they wouldn't have me...where would that leave them???...now they are older...you would think flying wouldn't be a problem...but what if something happen to my kids...God forbid...what would my grandkids do...they count on me...and with that...I would like to be the one to be in control of my life....in the matter of life or death...otherwise...the kids control me...or they think they do...LOL...you are so welcome Chip...xxoo

Hello Chip Kuzborski Good rhyming thought and an excellent suggestion for each of us today here on fanstory
to remember to-
tread
beyond (our) comfort's edge
tiptoe on the ledge with (confidence)
stomp on your fear and dance when it's dead

The best way to face the future is on the corpse of yesterday's fear. Once you have faced and conquered the things that you once were afraid of, you will laugh at how silly your fears were in the first place.

Great words to live by captured in just a few short lines. It's never easy to step out of our comfort zone. But with courage and determination, we can beat our fears to reach greater heights. Well done.
