I had no doubt Lee's wit would shine through in this interview, as well as his genuine reflections on writing and writing well. I've often wondered if he were a published author. His reaction to your question on that topic was spot on and agreeable. This was a great interview, Terry. Best, JohnC.

I'd say that this was as near perfect as an interview is going to get.
I love this man, Lee, I read him whenever I get a chance. And this interview of him was interesting and entertaining much as Humpwhistle is himself.
There was one typo I might point out to you though it is a small one. In the part about Non-fiction, you use the words metaphors and 'smiles' instead of 'similes.'
Other than that this is the best interview you have written yet!

Feels like I just attended a most helpful and entertaining lecture. There are many who would and could rightfully charge a fee for the wisdom just dispensed here for free. Another huge benefit of FS membership. You are providing a great service by hosting and posting these interviews with writers who have something interesting to say. I have greatly benefitted the updated information dispensed here. I thank you all over again. This is good stuff right here.

Feels like I just attended a most helpful and entertaining lecture. There are many who would and could rightfully charge a fee for the wisdom just dispensed here for free. Lee was a brilliant choice to interview, his writing is incredible. I learnt a lot from him, reading his wonderful stories, especially with dialect. I use it a lot because of him. I don't think I could ever write the short stories he does, he's second to none, and so darned good at it. This has been a great interview because he has given out many of his tips for writing, which I will put to use.
