This needs six stars but I only have five. Your subject is very deep and a little difficult for me to understand. I don't know whether you are talking about an angel that is around you or your spouse. But, all in all, your poem is very well written with very tender feelings.

If I have to look at the garment from your poem from a biblical perspective I will say it's a reminder that life is more than a cloth, it's the memory of the body that shelter, the joy of walking in the sun. Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest.

Sometimes you're shown things before your own time, Author. This is a nice piece. I liked the rhyme and the rhythm made it read well. If you'd like to see what it's like on the way out, read my notes in either of my poems, Farewell, or Sweet Release. They're from last month. :)

A very interesting poem--so soothing and yet with the theme of life leading inevitable to death and embracing both parts of that journey. How true we-none of us-are the skin we "wear"--whether supple and young or aged and at the mercy of gravity. This is super sweet. I really like the way that it flows and kinda tells a story without telling the whole story but we cant tell that like every good one there is sadness and happiness, growth and love. Well done.
