I find that when my expectation of others is low, I am pleasantly surprised often.
This is a great true to life poem. It teaches the reader to think differently and have high expectations of oneself but see others differently. Excellent poetic form and a smooth flow of rhyming words.

I think that most all of us who put pen to paper cross a threshold at some point in time. That is an internal transition where we consider ourselves to be a writer.
