Thanks for letting us know why you are so prolific today and for adding what inspired this post. Yes, the artwork matches your declaration perfectly. I salute your stand and your voice "in support of equality". If I only had a six... -Joan

A very well-written poem. We should raise our voices loud and clear that we are not going to tolerate the killing of innocent people for someone's selfish cause.

I liked your point of view in this poem. I agree that equality should be granted to all and I can never really understand how much prejudice there is in this world

Thank you Doug:) I just got back from Canada - it is a very friendly country, not loud, noisy and obnoxious.

It sounds like you had a good time - I have been there a couple of times myself and always enjoyed it.

I'll stand tall and strong
in support
of equality
of every face,
the human race.

Very profound. It's not just gays who are targeted today. We are all in their cross hairs.

Blessings
Janet

Yes, we all are especially those that are 'different' like the blacks being shot by police. Terrorists though attack anyone. Thanks so much Janet.

The voice is fruitless unless you follow it by action. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read.

Hello Teresa;
-Or first caught my eye was the very well appropriately chosen picture that I found very effectively appropriate, relative and supportive to the conceptual theme of your writing.
-Your writing in itself shares your views on the equality of the human race In your particular and effective voice on the matter of equality and your views of standing strong in your viewpoints and feelings of the human race equality in wake of the shooting in Orlando and the subsequent of being against firearms.
-Thanks for sharing and posting your writing and may the good Lord always be with you Teresa.

These are the best words for me:
"A voice I have today and a choice. I won't be silenced."
They resonated because there are those who would seek to silence our words if they do not agree with them.
Equality for all is a definite.

"Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal." -- Abraham Lincoln ... Our sixteenth President didn't say all white people, Americans, Christian people, straight people, or any other race, color, creed or lifestyle, were created equal. He said ALL people--period!
We all bleed red when we're cut. We all cry colorless tears when our heart is broken, and we all see red when we're angry (or so it's been said).

Great job, "t". It's nice to see that you're posting again.

Yep, he had it right way back then. Thanks so much Dean:) I'm back from Canada so will be reviewing again. Canada is so friendly and peaceful. Now it is back to loud, noisy, edgy people. Oh well, some day....maybe.

I've always said that if things didn't change in our country for the better soon, I'm moving to Canada. How many terrorist attacks do you hear of occurring in Canada?
    You're more than welcome, "t".

Easy flowing and very
succinct with an excellent
message to everyone. While
your lines dance down the
page with ease they leave
the reader with thoughts to
ponder, kudos. no nits or
spags. Lora
