Your poem illustrates the sadness of the loss of trees. Your picture is awesome, but your words do stand alone. Good job on the syllable count. One change: [breath needs to be breathe].

Couldn't have been written any better. Love how you ended this with: "breathtaking ignorance" The problem is when people get greedy all logic and reasoning disappears. Great! Good luck with the contest. Les

It is always disturbing to me when I see progress to an area at the cost of such beautiful trees. We are destroying such a great part of nature. Beautiful poem. Best of luck in the contest.

cut down trees
that won't help you breath anymore
breathtaking ignorance
Clean and Green -- that idea is conveyed by your bright colour choice. This verse has a powerful punchline. Great choice!
