Very religious and faith filled poem. It succinctly tells the story of the life and death of Jesus and what the death brought. Good use of Bible versees.
Good choice of illustration.
Keep writing.

This is a wonderful poem about the love of Jesus. Your poem takes me back to the hymn that says, "Isn't the love of Jesus something wonderful?" It is indeed amazing to think that God could love us.

Comment from Dorothy Farrell
Hi Roy - Another poem from you that reinforces what we already know. That you have great faith in God. It is written in good rhyming couplets throughout. Pity about 'This Jesus died upon that tree' - even the heathens among us know it is a cross. Besides dying on a tree is too near the truth about Judas Iscariot. This is such a good poem I would be inclined to make a following line that rhymes with 'cross'. Otherwise well written as is usual with you. Warm regards Dorothy

1 Peter 2:24, says it's a tree, it's a common metaphor! A great word for rhyme! Thank you Dorothy I really am most grateful for your ongoing support, thanks for the lovely, blessings, Roy.

Lovely poem of faith, with an appropriate joyful rhythm. I especially like this line:
His light reveals the path you seek.
like heaven's twins, << Should be a capital letter on Heaven, to distinguish it as the name of a specific place and not just the sky above.

The scriptures say that Christ is in us and we are in Him, whereas the only humans that are conjoined are Siamese twins, a Christian and Christ are even closer, and He calls me brother, hence Kin! I could get the scriptures if you wish, Caressa, very comforting being like this, it answers all questions, thanks for the great review, blessings, Roy.
