Duh... Just like the person who read about something on the Internet. It had to be true. It was on the Internet!

Good story. Well written. Concise and no loose words which is crucial when limited to 100.

A top contender in the contest. Good luck. John

Well written dialogue. The point is stated clearly and effectively -- a lot of the junk on television just isn't good for kids to be watching.

Moral values do not mean a think to producers of television shows, including those so-called children programs. Parents/grandparents and caregivers have to closely monitor children television. Excellent story, best of luck in the contest.

This is a risky piece. Some people might think your criticizing hip-hop and not get the message your trying to get across. This is so subtle and powerful it's scary.

I got it right away. Parents, STOP USING TELEVISION AND THE INTERNET( although not mentioned here) AS BABY SITTERS. Television is violent everywhere especially in children's shows. Take an afternoon and watch the Nick Kid's channel. It gets worse on the weekends.
Great piece and by the way I love HIP HOP Lil Wayne and Snoop Dog."

Thank you very much. Yes, they are letting the computer and cell phone be baby sitters too. Things are slipping away fast.

This is very good social commentary. I know Sesame Street has become iconic and there is probably not a kid in the U.S.A. who never watched it. Yet today's version has changed (as have so many other "kids' shows." You very subtly show how too much TV watching (of any kind) CAN have a negative effect.

Yeah! Rappin' Elmo. It's amazing how our values dip further and further into the sewer as we accept less and les responsibility for what our children take in as NORMAL.

Sesame street is looking sinister. People just don't realize the impact tv has on the kids. They watch murders, beatings and bad behavior and don't even flinch. Those video games that some kids play for days on end in dank little rooms must desensitise them and the real world becomes unreal. Good entry, cheers judester

If a show was bought out by Lil Wayne and Snoop Dog (isn't he nowadays known as Snoop Lion?) you definitely shouldn't let you kids watch the show. This is well written. Good luck.
