You seem to be a carefree happy soul that is also practical as shown by being a Walmart shopper. I like how this poem addresses all the different senses.

I love this.
People should give odes to themselves more often! I personally never miss a shot in mentioning how awesome i am, to either myself OR my wife, who often eyerolls at me in the process!

Love your vivacious, effervescent poem of delight in just being. So rare are these perfect moments, that they must be celebrated. Great vivid descriptions of indulging all the senses. It's like you just woke up and realized that eyes are for seeing, ears are for hearing, tongue is for tasting, and fingers are for touching. Thanks for reminding me of that. Most of the time, it's like there is a disconnect between our minds and our bodies.
I adore the fist-pumping end, especially not-a-nun. Wow, woman! This is the way to live.

Well here I am fist-pumping again dear, 'cos you gave me a magic sixer! Yes, I had great fun with this one - amazing what a bit of peace & quiet on a sunny, gorgeous afternoon can do - and yes, too often we don't take the time to'connect' ... but when we do ... AIN'T IT GRAND!!! Big double/ triple heaps of thank you my dear! :)Sharyn

This is one of those magical poems, which just make you feel good and got out and dance in the rain, even if it is not raining. It is delightful to read, full of fun and makes one feel oh so alive. It takes talent for a poet to awake these feelings in her readers, but you did, me girl
Well done
you're a star
cool bananas and warm regards

It was fun and enlightening to read this. Through your eloquent words, I have come to know you better.
We have something in common, I love Earl Grey, too.
Great choice to homage yourself.
Good luck in the contest.

Such fun! The reader can feel the emotion in this well written work. The twist of the "scales" was both surprising and a delight. The artwork is perfect for this poem. I really liked the greenness of this all! Spring! New beginnings!
