Well written and beautifully told. A great story for kids and grown-ups alike during this Christmas season. I love how it shows that we need to do whatever God has placed us on this earth to do, even if it doesn't seem to be important. We are all a part of his perfect plan. Merry Christmas! Karen

The gentle tone reminds us of what christmas should be about and not the profligate consumerism that is the hallmark of celebrations every year.The symbolism adopted is very good and the moral of faithful work being rewarded, is very apt at a time loke christmas. I would certainly read it bedtime to my baby daughter.

A most original story! We hear of a special fairy, whose job is to relieve the shepherds so that they can get some rest. The fairy is the one to spot the bright star, and so is rewarded by God.
This is most enjoyable to read! This would be wonderful if illustrated!
