adewpearl, this one is also very well-written and humourous, with your usual funny words in abundance. I think it is a subtle sattire focusing on certain silly human behaviours such as playing tricks and cheating others. KUDOS

Adewpearl, I've finally stopped by to read one of your poems, and it's a delight. (I'd say "pearler" but that might be just too painful a pun.) I happened to be reading some reviews last night and saw one of yours, and that, on top of your reviews of my own work, made me think "I must really check out her work!"
It's a delight to see all this slang worked into a coherent, and funny, tale. Diddly squat is one of my favourite expressions - I use it a lot, generally in reference to our general manager. Jake's tale is a real pleasure to read, and there's nary a bump in the rhythm, nor typo to be seen. Thank you for posting!

i think i am actually reading more now than i did. i feel more alive and creative. i finished my first novel. i had done novellas before but a real novel. now i have two in the works and hope to finish them soon. it is a great feeling to get something accomplished.
