nicely done questions poem. I liked the image chosen as it nicely sums up the spirit of the poem. I like how it builds to the final questions whether you are ready to go when it is your time.

Very good entry for the question poem ... as in some stanzas you even had extra questions.
I'm sure we all wonder at some point in our lives if we're doing good, doing the tight things, being an asset, etc. I guess just remember to do the best at what you can do. Thanks for sharing this with us and good luck in the contest.

Thanks, gma, yes I was inspired to write it as questioning thru the entire poem as I am ill, and it is like a checklist for me. Thank you again for you kind words.

This poem spoke to me personally. Your humility, dignity and, indeed, your faith speak volumes. Often, we are in doubt about our attitudes, but one thing is certain: Jesus forgives mightily and understands human error. I would love to, if I may read more of your work, as I loved this so much. God bless you . I have read it again A most worthy first placed. Congratulations

This is a well written poem sharing with us the variety of passions during each stage of life.
This includes how to handle hurting others, gossiping, lost souls, temptations, anger, and compassion.
I like to ending to review one's life to decide where to go next

This is great and truly beautiful. And what lovely script you chose two with that dark background really stands out! A marvelous selection of word choices put together in wonderful sentences creating magic! I see no issues with grammar or aesthetics It's well done in a fine submission I wish you best of luck!

I think you have a powerful premise here. My main issue is that it's a little hard to read with the font you used. Otherwise it was a great poem. Good luck in the contest!

Wow - that is a pretty low rating for something that has nothing to do with the real creation of the poem. With all due respect, I have never heard of anyone rate like that after given the compliment you did. Not everyone's eyes are the same and we don't rate on an opinion of font. I am sure you are new here, so I welcome you. Its important to be fair as they do make a difference to our ranks.

When I finished reading this poem, one question came to mind. What happens to people who don't believe in Jesus? It's a big world out there and there are many good, bad, and ugly people from every faith and age group. This poem seemed biased and not very inclusive.
It was nicely formatted and illustrated.
Thanks for writing.

Well Leather if you think about it, it should sound biased. Please understand that I mean that respectfully. But my faith wouldn't be real faith unless I believe it to be real and right. Also, if you read it right, you will see that thru the whole thing, I am talking to myself. So it is biased, because it would mean nothing if I wasn't sure of it. And they are things I say to myself, and it is my poem. So it is something I was inspired to write. I hope that helps to understand, my friend.

Those are all great, functional questions on how a person chooses to live their lives, either daily or upon circumstances.
Regardless of the outcomes to the questions, that final line is the summation to it all.
Which will it be?
Cheers,
John

A beautifully written poem of the questions we all should be asking ourselves. In my faith, self-examination is part of our house. Examine yourself to see if your are of the faith, the good book says. Thankfully, the Bible is full of Christ's amazing grace for He lived in the flesh and knows what's it like. Praise the Lord, I will see you in God's kingdom above!
Sending you my best today as always, and my very best wishes in the upcoming vote.
