Indeed the majesty of the ocean. Nothing like it. Like the poem and rhyming scheme good. Nice image and you have certainly fulfilled the competition requirements. Well done. Take care and have a great day.

Willie,
You posted a great poem concerning the where about of these waves. For certain as a kid and when our kids were growing up we experienced thousands of these dissspearing waves. Many of them knocked me on my backside before the sank on the shore. Great times...
A very HSPPY BIRTHDAY, my friend. Enjoy...

Hi Willy!
Where do those waves go? I think the sand must eat them. Great poem.

It makes you wonder how there are more waves left! And what does the beach do with all the waves it is stealing? Hmm, something is going on here that we don't know about. Lol. I really enjoyed your poem for the prompt, Willie, it's fun and I loved the repeating words. Well done and good luck in the contest! :)) Sandra xx

I really like the way you have put this together. Your visual image, chosen font and carefully chosen words all work together to create the effect of waves rolling forward and being replaced by the next, echoing the theme explored in the text. Very meta! :)

Sometimes the waves power into the shore with such strength and then they are gone, but like our thoughts, not truly gone, because another one pounds in after it, then another. A good rhyming poem for the 'roaring sea' challenge Willie. Good luck in the contest,
cheers,
valda

I have often wondered how waves keep on lapping the shore and the cycle never ends. A fine post Willie, I enjoyed the repetition here, very appropriate, love Dolly x

Wille,
Congrats on your 2nd place finish in The roaring sea poem contest. Your poem describes precisely what happens to all waves as they reach the shore in a perpetual cycle that continues infinitely.
All the best,
Eugene

There is so much to think about with this little poem. I'm relating life and death to the wave and shore. The handwritten text benefits the beauty and simplicity of the verse. This is my fave sea entry so far. Great stuff.
