Great interview. It gives me some idea f who this "Humpwhistle" feller is.
Just two suggestions:
FROM READING SOME... 1st sentence (Rober) should be (Robert)
WHEN DID YOU START... 12th sentence ( Interviewer's) should be (Interviewer's) Remove one space before (I).
Very good method of introducing us to a popular and successful writer on FS. Thanks for the efforts.

Terry, you made an excellent choice with Lee. Now, I don't know whether to believe he is the Lee who is the commercial success or is the son of Julia Child -- and it really doesn't make any difference. He is a helluva writer and if he chooses to keep it on FanStory, we are all the winners. And in the meantime, he probably makes more with his $100 Visa cards than he would make in royalties for his novels.
So, good for him ... and good for you, my friend.

Another great interview, well written and giving us a great insight into this colourful writer. He certainly has some interesting things to share. I really like his comment in the last paragraph, which probably describes him well:
"You just can't fit one of my size-fourteen gunboats into Cinderella's slipper no matter how hard you shove."

Wonderful job with your interview, Terry! You made this feel like we were all at a dinner party and just having a good chat with Mr. Lee. It's been fun to hear him articulate the specifics of his art and how he achieves such successful stories. Certainly, his ad experience gives him an edge in working words so well.

This was a tough interview to follow since I am not intimate with Humpwhistle other than a few reviews. Still, you seem to have had fun with it. That shouold matter most.

Well, I'm gad I read that. Now my dilemma is, who do I congratulate for the insight, the interviewer or the interviewee? I do appreciate that FS is a society unto itself with some lifetime residents and some transients passing through. Nice job.

Lee is the King when it comes to writing stories on FS. I am always blown away by everything he posts and the fact he can master so many dialogues is amazing.
