What an uplifting poem for a Sunday! It never hurts to be thankful for all the wondrous things we take for granted given to us each day. Your words are a wake up call for us to ask God for help in all things and be thankful which will change our frame of mind.
Great reminder with beautiful imagery and heartfelt emotions to turn to God in all things :))

This is a wonderful poem about the power of prayer, Sandra.
Faith can move mountains and make each day go by with beauty and with ease. It is the difference of darkness and dawn in your life when you learn to pray and trust God to take care of your cares. Well done dear. Nancy:)

What a wonderful story told in rhyme. Wonderful things happen when we approach the Lord and let him into our lives. Prayer is the answer to everything, I think.

This poem, The Power of Prayer, gives the readers a great example of God working on the person rather than the problems. Problems are daily and never ending, whereas attitude and blessed assurance trump it all.

-The images are vivid in
both parts of the prayer,
like "her rainbow, coloured grey and white."
-I like how she took a chance and
began her prayer, asking if there
was a chance for her.
-Now, "The sky was coloured shades of pink."
-A very good closing couplet, showing
that everything wouldn't be solved at once,
but now she had "God there by her side."
-This came from your heart, and
that makes the prayer and poem
more beautiful.
-Thanks for sharing this, my friend,
there are so many people who can

It is amazing how similar and yet how different the two faces are. The first face seems so troubled and the second so peaceful. Having God on your side makes everything go so much smoother. You are an excellent poet. I love the ways your words flow and the poetry come together so beautifully.
