Hello, Diane,
Thank you so much for this really lovely review and all the stars! I'm delighted that you enjoyed this one. I do get upset when I learn how people kill these amazing animals for gain. But apart from that, it's such fun researching them, and I'm learning so much, too. Have a lovely day! :)) Sandra xxx

This is a truly excellent piece of writing, the poem and the prose. You have used specific, vivid details to provide a description of this amazing creature. Very informative

Quite a few people have been into hippos recently. I think the animal crackers club had a challenge on them. They always make me think of the wonderful Hippopotamus song from Flanders and Swann.
This is a good sequel and i like the format of this collection.

I noticed that, too, but it was too late to change my hippo, not after I'd got it all set up. I don't think I've heard that one, I've heard loads of their others.
Thank you for the nice comments about my collection, Jim, I really appreciate it. Have a lovely rest of the day! :)) Sandra xx

It's amazing how man ignores the sheer genius of God to make an environment and design the perfect animal for the environment to fit in that environment. You've posted a wonderful episode in your amazing animals H for hippopotamus Sandra, your fantastic grandson will be grateful, well done, blessings, Roy

Thank you so much, Roy, for your lovely review. While I've been researching these animals, I'm becoming so angry at the way man kills these amazing creatures mainly for financial gain. They are cruel and should be locked away.
You are so right about the way God creates the environments for these animals, and enables them to live in them safely. It's a wonderful world, my friend, God was kind enough to give it to us to look after, we should at the very least, do the job properly. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Yes it?s God?s world, and we?ve clearly failed the mandate given us, but the Spirit is moving Sandra.

I love this post about animals. The hippopotamus is really a remarkable one! Again; nice for children and adults.
There is a sentence in the description part that is somewhat disturbing. I think I know what you mean, but it sounds funny this way:
...a red oil, which they (who are they?) call, (comma needed?) blood sweat.

Thank you, so much for this lovely review, Marjon, I'm so pleased you enjoyed it. I've changed that sentence so it's not so confusing now. There wasn't any set of people, it was just what several articles described it as because at first glance it does look like blood.
Thanks again, my friend. Have a lovely day! :)) Sandra xxx

More cool facts. I didn't know even half that about hippos. Really well written and very informative. Keep up the great work. I can't wait to see what "I" is going to be.

-Good artwork, photos,
and choice of animal, Sandra.
-A good poem and overview
of this giant creatures.
-It is amazing that they can
grow so large while eating grass,
and then going without food for
so long if they have to.
-As with many of our creatures, it
is very sad to know they are still
hunted for man's greed.
-Well done, my friend.

Thank you so much for reading my letter H, Pam. I enjoyed researching this one, there is more about these animals than we realise. I'm so pleased you enjoyed it. Big hugs, dear friend. :)) Sandra xxx

You are very welcome, Sandra. There is a lot to learn about our animals, and you are doing a good job of it. I look forward to each one.

Hello Sandra, another great write. Good poem, good information, great pictures - you have given us the lot. You really do work hard. One little tip - 'The Hippo bulls stands wide and tall' - drop the S in bull - 'The Hippo bull stands wide and tall'. Or drop the S in stands - 'The Hippo bulls stand wide and tall'. Great piece of work and a worthy six. Love Dorothy xxx

Sandra, I really like your motivation for writing these series of poems with interesting information added about God's unique creatures. It's also great that your grandson can learn that every animal was created by God with the unique instincts that they need To survive in their habitat. Bill

Hi Bill, thank you so much for this lovely review. It is nice that Eric knows about God. He has three cats in Heaven, he knows they are being looked after by God until he goes up to be with them. I really appreciate this review, my friend. Thank you! Have a lovely day. :)) Sandra xx
