You're right that our earthly garment / tent is indeed strange as it doesn't really reflect all that is in our souls and hearts as you so eloquently stated. Only in heaven, will our true selves/souls be revealed.

It is hard to embrace death in such a way because we all love life so much that we do not want it to end and this is the selfish nature of human life I expect. We also fear death as we know it is final because we have seen things die and people die. Your words here are food for thought and poignant, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

I love your rhyme and meter and the beauty in your words. I'm just not quite sure about your story. Is this a friend, a partner, a person you see as an angel, your guardian angel?
Either way, time and separation will not take away God's gifts. And that is the beauty in your poem.

A very beautiful poem. I thought your subject, though a bit strange, was picked for a purpose only you know. You rhymes and rhythm was well executed, and your art work was perfect for the piece.
Thanks so much for sharing.

Hello Friend,
What a WONDERFUL piece of Spiritual Poetry this is!
Impressive as well as PERFECTLY matching the theme phraseology.
Smooth, spontaneous, and ENCHANTING flow throughout from the beginning to the end with lovely rhyming scheme and lively imagery.
It TRANSPARENTLY depicts the heart-touching theme.
The last Stanza, moreover, its 1st two lines are particularly noteworthy.
Picture enhances depth and beauty of the poem.
SUPERB.
BEST OF LUCK in the contest.
