Your recipe is held in strictest confidence, Sally. No one will get it from me. Thanks for sharing the delicious sounding recipe. Now, hopefully, the store has one with my name on it--if I can maneuver through the throng of people. One would have to come by way of helicopter to get in, then need a bodyguard to shop. Your videos are well-received. Thanks for sharing and have a great St. Patrick's Day! Respectfully, Jan

Dear Jan, how kind you are. Thanks for stopping by for fun and food. I hope you celebration was in home and fun. I've been enjoying my corned beef and cabbage all week. I stuffed my large pot to the brim. It tasted especially good this year. It must've been the Riverdance. ;)
Sending you my best today as always,
Sal xoxo

Sally,
Thanks for the videos. I watched those first and they put me in the Irish mood.
Change 12 oz plale ale to pale ale.
I like your advice to guard your recipe with our lives.
Im vegan so I won't try your recipe, but it was presented well, and I enjoyed the entertainment.

Thank you very much, Patricia dear. I'm so p.eased you enjoyed it all. It great vegan. Just omit the corned before and water and use less peppercorns. Pour the ale in a large cook pot and add the cabbage, pototoes, carrots and ale. Bring to a low boil with the lid on for 25 or until for tender. I make this even when it's not St. Paddy's Day. Sending you my best today as always,
Sally Law xoxo

Dear Sally,
Begosh and Begorrah. A somewhat unusual post, but no doubt much appreciated by those who know their way around a kitchen. I regret I have no skills in that at all.
May all your Shamrocks have 4 leaves (or is that clover).
Happy St Pats.

It's hard to say if this is shamrocks or clover since I am blind. Hey, it looked Irish green to me though. Yes, I still can see my way around the kitchen a bit and can cook up a pretty good feast for just about any holiday. So glad you could stop by today for fun and festivities. If you lived on my continent, I would invite you over for dinner. ;)
Sending you my best today as always,
Sally xo

This must be close to what my sister makes on occasion. She gets more into St. Patrick's Day, or she did, while her children were still very young. I am wondering is it 'plale ale' or 'pale ale'? I don't drink, so maybe there's another kind of ale out there. I think we have a tiny minuscule bit of Irish in one side of our family ancestry. This recipe looks so well-done it makes me want to go see if we still have a Dutch oven in the garage.

I fixed it, it's pale ale. Sorry about that. I'm glad you enjoyed my post, Chrystie. I have three dutch ovens. They really have to be deep and wide to hold it all. Sending you my best today as e,
Sally xo
