A beautiful presentation and you brought the early morn to my eyes and I saw those dainty petals dangle as you paused for thought and your memories came flooding, a delightful read, good luck with the contest, love Dolly x

This is a lovely tanka prose posting offering nature as the background for positive memories of a beloved mother. I like the addition of the robin, especially because I feed a pair of robins a few apple chunks every day. One of them frequently takes a bath in the shallow pan of water I set out. Your tanka portion is well-written as it follows the prose paragraphs with an added scent of excellence.

This great entry in this contemporary tanka contest, is similar to a haibun, except the prose is a more fluid example for instance. But this is a fine post for this contest, good luck, well done, blessings, Roy
Typo Robin fled(l)ing.
