This is a well written story /poem that rhymes and flows beautifully. The way you describe the similarities and differences between the two is presented very well. I like this humorous and well written story /poem. Well done! You should do well in the contest.

Comment from Air Spirit
Your poem/commentary on twins is airy and light --- you use humor, cleverness and wit. You point out that despite being identical twins, you can have significant and vastly different goals and visions about your life. DNA helps bind and bond us together with our siblings, and twins more so, but it can't eliminate some pretty significant and vast differences in their positive character traits, as well as in their defects. I have known several different pair of twins, and sometimes their similarities in expressions, humor, laugh, or frown, can be eerily the same --- but then turn around and shock you with how vastly different they are --- almost questioning how they could come out of the same mold/family, when they seem to be so many differences. That is because the human spirit is unique, cannot be contained or literally defined --- it is too expansive and unique... God granted us each and every one the spark of our very own essence and soul --- and our challenge, should we decide to accept it, is to navigate through life's waters, looking for safe harbors, and avoiding those who will wage war ... you use your humor to eloquently point out these things, and so much more... very enjoyable poem!

Hahahaha!
Well, if these two looked enough alike perhaps they could pull off an old switcheroo every now and again.
Who would be the wiser save for the two twin sisters?
This was hilarious--I truly enjoyed it.
Best of luck to you in the contest.

Hello Mystery Writer!
What a hoot! I attended Catholic school for eight years, and it is difficult for me to imagine any of the sisters there doing anything untoward! Or even thinking of "a lay." But...now that I think of it, it would have done some of them good! :)
Wish to point out two nits. Ignore if needed or you find offensive:
Neither regrets their choice in life, (;)
they each tackle the chores of the day (,) or (.) and capitalize the following "But"
but sometimes Jane longs for peace and quiet (,)
and Joan often longs for a lay.
Thanks for sharing!

This is quite a contrast in the sister's lives. I like the last sentence... gave me a chuckle. I'm sure that the two do envy each other's lifestyle a bit. Good story in poem...good luck in the contest.

Those are the reviewers that aren't paying attention to the talent...they just want the member cents...It's their loss! ; )
Comment from Sandra du Plessis
A very well-written story poem about twin sisters who are totally the opposite of each other in character and preferences in life. We all are human and we all have our own personality even when we look alike.

Goodness! This is like night and day meeting at dawn and sunset to compare notes..
Very well written, strong sentiment but in controlled undertones. Direct, honest...
refreshing. This is quite a story.
Well crafted and best to you, Anon, in the story poem contest!
