That was a whimsical story. You never can tell what these TV programmes are teaching our youngsters! Enjoyable read and good luck in the contest. Faye

Right!!! And parents believe the crap isn't ruining our children? Electronics in general are changing our society for the worst. Good write.

Ah, the 100-woord story contests are difficult.
Hard to get character, setting, conflict, and resolution all crammed into so few words.
This one reads a little like a joke to me--a set-up, and a punch line.

Just one man's opinion.

Good luck.

Peace, Lee

Oh, the irony. Love the line: "Don't be silly. If it were bad for kids, they wouldn't show it on television, right?" Thankfully, most parents aren't that naive, right?

Nice job.

Good fantasy story about TV parents. A story with reality in many ways. Too much television if not the right things, can be bad.

You've mixed some lovely cultural icons here to produce a very funny and clever satire about a child's bad behaviour and what's behind it. Love that the gangster rappers have the boys from Sesame Street bringing down the kids of today.

Hah ha! U-h-h-h-h-hhhhhhhh....wrong! Let's take that wildly popular show on ABC's Family Channel, Pretty Little Liars, for example. Teaching teens to be conniving, deceitful, and win at all costs? There are many more shows like PLL, but that's one of the most popular.

So, no, it wouldn't surprise me in the least that little Timmy acts the way he does. It's now part of our everyday, accepted culture. Such a shame...

Yes master...television is good for you...the government is my friend...nutrasweet doesn't cause health problems...
I agree that so called kids programs need a bit more monitoring. Good story. Well done for so few words.

What an interesting entry into this short work contest! You've certainly presented some " food for thought" I know not whether it is absolutely certain that all the things for children on TV is good for them or not! Good provocative thinking here! Well done, Good luck, blessings, Roy.

They show just about anything on tv now. They even let networks use B---ch on soaps and other daily shows. Watch what they watch and you'll be shock.
