The problem with words is that some people used them as they to come to mind ,without examining if they are destructive or constructive.Everything in life can be said without hurting anyone and yet get the point across.A good message within this write.Good luck in the contest.

'Words Make Or Break.' It is quite true that words can make or break your name, your personality and character. Your comment says it all. Well done.

This reminds me of the sticks and stones can break my bones but words will never hurt me. But of course we all know that words have more power than almost anything else we can throw at people.

This is the best so far that I have reviewed in most of your posts here at FS. The sentences are crisp and concise and delivered your message across, to your readers effectively. I agree with you, words are lethal when used unwisely, but will honor one with fame, when given wisely. And yes it is true, people, wisdom and action is dependent too, on fate, for we don't have control over them. Simply nice. God bless.

Words hurt as much as punches, or they can be a caress too.
I think the only way you can be a little immune to words concerning you as to know yourself.

I'm with you for most of this Al - of course words and how we use them are the crux of human history, yes? But fate? Hmmm ... Imagine what England would have been without the inspiration of Winston Churchill's words ... or what Germany would have been without Hitler's words ... No - I'm afraid I must disagree with you here and say that words CAN dictate 'fate'.
This is prose, so should be grammatically correct - unless you're intending this to be 'prose poetry', in which case I'd classify it as such. So:
you may expect (a) better result in the long run.
(or --- better results)

I agree that the words that come out of our mouths mean so much more than society wants us to believe. The whole sticks and stones can break my bones but words can never hurt me, is not the truth. Words hurt the person they are directed at, when negative, and they hurt the person who slanders. We should think before we speak. I liked this.

Hey Al,
Hurrah! You wrote something that I understand clearly and don't have to guess at.
Yes, words are powerful things. Proverbs 18: Death and life are in the power of the tongue.
Spags:
better result(s)

A good sentiment.
Reminds me a bit of Lincoln's "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt."
Not really sure though where you were going with "Fate is an exception."
As for not being able to control people, certainly not... I think people can only really control themselves, but through setting a good example, influence others.
Anyway, decent piece.

So true ...James 1:5. If any one lacks wisdom let him ask of God who gives to all men everywhere generously and without reproach and it will be given him.......I take this reviewing seriously never wanting to discourage... I don't want my words to harm ...........a chance word from a fellow student to a 13 year old girl turned her anorexic ...she died at 19 tragic and so sad
Wisdom is needed
God bless
