A lot of things and stories I hear have relatively easy access to guns in America, that's the problem, this poor kid is so disturbed, we have the same sort of struggles particularly among young teenage boys. There's so much pressure and expectations of them. It must have an awful happening for you Debi, I'm sorry, blessings Roy

Hi Roy, you were one of the first reviewers so I hadn't added all my notes that I added later. I had put this under fiction, but sometimes those are not easy to see, so I added it to my notes. However, I do thank you for your compassion when you thought it had happened to us. You are the best, Roy!
I also thank you very much for reading my story. Children are truly my weak spot, so to see one of them suffer is heart wrenching.
I appreciate the kind and compassionate comments for this story. It felt right and I hope that it helps to keep the awareness going.
Thanks again, my wonderful friend. Love, Debi

Me too

Great story with strong emotional impact. As adults I think we lose sight of what a teen goes through. It looks trivial to us, but between hormonal upheaval and the brain still developing, it can be a very difficult time for some.
Thanks for sharing this tense, touching story! Julie

Oh gosh, one never knows right... The thing that got me was that there was a gun ...that was not locked up... Thank goodness no one was hurt...
How is your brother now?
Sounds like he was on his way to getting better...
Hugs to you early this morning,
Lisa

Hi Sweetie, no, this was completely fictional. LOL, I guess I told it better than I thought. I know I marked it as fictional, but sometimes I don't see those either, so I better go write that in author's notes. Thanks so much, Lisa.
I appreciate your kind comments. Love, Debi

Oh I am so glad this was not real... Yikes... just imagine... Anyway, you have such a creative brain... We both can make up things that feel so real...right...
