You go. An inspiring read, touching the religious aims by God, revealing events recorded on the Bible: illustrating points. I personally enjoyed this piece. I do have one request: capitalize Father, in reference to God.

Thank you for sharing this, Nomi. It's a good word for today and always. Hate brings nothing but woe and destruction. Only with God's love is the world mended. Sending you my best today as always.

Thank you so much, Dear Sally. It breaks my heart to see hatred rear its ugly head at this time in our lives.

This an excellent poem, and you are right. The horrible hate that is flaring up in the Middle East at the moment does go back to biblical times. I liked your poem very much and the message within. Ulla:)))

I get the message loud and clear, save for how WE, all of us, could be accountable for Adam's sin, and another thing is why blame Him when She, Eve, was the first deceived? Satan may have tempted her, but Eve was the one that tempted Adam, running around nakid, no? Besides, all of us were born innocent and could not sin until reason entered in, sometime about eight years old. Thereafter, any sin committed became our own, not HIS.

Thank you for your amusing comments about a naked Eve running around tempting and distracting poor befuddled Adam. However, just as you inherit DNA, sin can be and is inherited. Life does not occur with the seed that comes only from the male. Therefore, Adam as the bearer of the first set of seeds is guilty as charged.

We need to agree to disagree, as sin is neither part, or parcel of DNA, and I understand you did not say that it is. Though, if you're right, what of Christ who was birthed mortally, would that include He who supposedly was sinless? And if infants dies before being baptised, would they be damned for Adam's transgression? Can a error made, condemn a being if that party has no reason? Not even in judicial courts of law. Still, there's no need for arguing when we can seek the truth through prayer. I wonder if Hindi's, Taoists, Muslims and other non-christian have impressions re: sin?

Jesus did not have a human father, which is why he was able to exchange his perfect life for the perfect life Adam lost through his sin. All who accept Jesus as their savior can have their sin forgiven. Please read John 3:16 for an explanation of how this all works.

I did and have read John's address, many times. Be well, my Christian soldier!

This is an excellent poem. I think something happens in their early years that teaches them hate. They are either abused or the are taught to hate from parents who are haters and of course, Satan it the original force behind the hate which began with envy and jealously. We look forward to time when hate and evil will be eradicated and we will live in peace in a new earth.

Your Every word and thought are, in my own humble opinion is absolutely correct and on point. The fact that some hat, but others do not proves that hate can be learned and also unlearned.

I love the picture of the mobile phone having Hate on the line with the two buttons to push, accept, or reject. I reject all haters too. The ones who start every sentence with the words "You know what I hate most is..." You can finish the sentence any way you choose it still ends up being hate-mongering and it does a disservice to every living soul on this planet.

This work has reached the exceptional level

This is a powerful verse in which you forcefully expound on the contemptible sin of hatred. It is the direct cause of our instability, both personally and globally. And I like the way you reinforce this in your author's note that, effectively, it spreads like a cancer throughout the body, mind and soul. I particularly like your imagery of "flowers of different colours/beneath our skin we're all brothers." If I might suggest anything it would be for your verse to drive the theme home with, perhaps, more contrast with the positive qualities of love. But, as ever, Nomi, you've conveyed your sentiments with passion and great skill, making this a stirring read. Well done! Debbie

Thank you, Debbie. I take your words to heart. As a writer, it is very important to me to be able to reach my readers with something that causes a reaction, either positive or negative. If they felt something then I have achieved my goal. Of course, you always hope for the positive.

You are right in what you say, there will always be haters in the world, sadly and it is so unnecessary we are all on the same journey and made equal, it's a pity not everyone can see that. A well written piece.

Excellent commentary. I like the flow. It appeared to have a rhythm going which I really loved.
I'd like to bookcase this for further study.

My favorite part was...
We are God's people, His alone,

He is our father; the earth is our home.
Well done and take care
