How sweet and ingenious way to honor your brother by presenting him with your sister's shared childhood memories with your brother.
Creative and so beautifully written.
Best wishes

Aw, Debi, how sweet of you to compose a beautiful poem for your brother, Greg! How blessed you are and obviously a close-knit family with many great stories to tell. My five brothers: Michael, Robert, Maurice, Stephen and Phillipe, were all older than me. Only Robbie is living, at 77, and of course, Suzanne, aged 64. Family is such a wonderful thing. You all are so very blessed to have one another.
Love, love the art on this! How clever, baby sis! (I had to blow that up with my magnifier, but I got it!)
Sending you my best, and love and blessings always,
BBB XOs
Happy Birthday, Greg!!

I certainly loved your picture, it was so very delightful, Debi. I appreciated your note that you were celebrating his 70th Birthday. Perhaps you could advise us when the next one is. (Hint) LOL. We do so love birthdays, anniversaries and sadly even deaths. Blessings n Hugs!

What a lovely way to commemorate your brother's 70th, blessed to all be together and share fun memories. A written poem is such a personal gift, and sharing of your heart with him and others. I can relate to this as I have 11 siblings!

Debi, you do write birthday poems better than Hallmark. I think it is cool that you had such a large family and all the great memories that can be generated by that environment. Greg, sounds like a great guy. Well done. Terry.

Hi Terry, thank you to the guy that makes me feel like I have another really close brother and also one of my best of friends. I am rich because of you and a few others, and I thank you for that too.

Miss Marquette must be acknowledged as the Poet of the Happy Go Lucky. Her poetry even turns suffering into a nice, occasional event, and this continuous stream of pleasantry becomes a bit like an add for a General Mills cereal or the script for an "Our Gang" comedy film. The poet uses meter and rhyme well, although she doesn't mind if a line gets clunky by an inversion that puts the rhyme where it needs to go. Her poetry is like the welcome relief found by watching older family shows like "Father Knows Best" or "My Three Sons."

Frank, you are too kind and I realize there are a few clunks, due to it being the only way to tell the story. I need to tell you, rather good, bad or in between, I have a folder with your comments in and am blessed by them all.
I was going to print the poem and give it to him, but always let it simmer first to catch any and all mistakes. Your kind review makes it easier for me to make it by tomorrow's birthday party. Thank you my dear friend....
P.S. My book is slowly under construction, as my artist granddaughter is working on illustrations for it.

Your memories shined through in your poetic words, Debi. Memories are so vivid in your mind recalling all the small details that may be difficult to put to pen. But in summary you have given a glimpse of the love you all shared.
That's still special!

What a great memory to childhood past. I always love poetry where there is a message about or on people, family or relationships. Your poems are really incredibly honest and from the heart. I enjoyed the rhyming and the jovial tone of your poem.
Great job, Debi!!!

What a lovely story of family, and so well related in verse! I started off to say, Greg is lucky to have you all, but really, each of you is so lucky to have the others. Continue to enjoy your times together! Julie L xx
