This is thrilling, and even slightly mysterious. My maths is not good this morning (go look for email) but if I've worked everything out right I have to wait another 17 hrs or so before using the link and appeasing my curiosity. However, then I'll be there, and I'll make some spare time tomorrow (I hope) to peruse. kay

Once you get it you'll see how disgusted I am. I want to apologize, in advance over the sloppiness you'll discover of the chapter numbering. I'll have that corrected later, but I can't do it while the window is open for the freebie. As far as I can see, the content hasn't been affected.
Comment from Wayne Fowler
Cleverly done. Good work.
'outside and above' (para#5) is the commonality?
I like the cover, well worth the bucks.
I did a free ebook on FanStory. Sold 8. Never heard a word from anywhere despite accolades from FS reviewers for the posts. Hmmm. Could it have been 'play nice' for the FS dollars? Surely not!
Good luck with it. I'm makin' note - on this date I communicated with the author of "The Greatest Short Stories I Have Ever Written"!

No, change "capabilities" to "abilities". It made me a believer in automatic writing. By the way, are you saying you bought the short story collection? That wasn't my intention, but if you did ... thank you for going the step beyond. If I misread what you said ... well, how awkward! LOL, thanks my friend.

I bought RSVP, Greatest Short Stories, and Uneven Zen

Whoa, my new Best Friend! You've got a lot of print to go through. Thank you so very much!

I'm sorry I still don't have a six for you. But, Jay, you should make another book of short stories, starting with these last ones. They are hilarious, yet serious, they make you stop and think, laugh, frown, nod your head, and want to know more, want to learn more about your problems of becoming a published writer. All readers will finally realise they are not the only ones on the planet struggling to publish their book, and will persevere as you have done. I love that title!! Well done, my friend!! Love and hugs. Sandra xx

I'm so happy you enjoyed your reading experience. You are always over the top on your support and praise. I appreciate you more than you know. Have you downloaded your freebie yet? I want to apologize over the sloppiness of the chapter numbering on it. I'll have that corrected later, but I can't do it while the window is open for the freebie. As far as I can see, the content hasn't been affected. Please tell your friends about it. I want to create a buzz in England and with G in Ireland. I think Wayne Fowler is from Australia. He's been enthusiastic about my promotion.
Anyway, thank you again. And again. You are superwoman and wonderwoman all in one cape. Whatever that means. LOL

Hi Jay, I tried to download your book by following your link, but because it was .com and not .co.uk they said I couldn't have it. It's only for .com customers. I tried changing the link to 'co.uk, but that didn't work either. You've only allowed it for American's. I know you can change it to be sold everywhere, but I don't know how it will effect your freebie offer. I have a telephone number for KDP I've had it years, and they helped me a lot. This is the number: I don't know if the bracketed number works in the US, it's our free code.
(0800) 2797232 You can try it. Let me know how you get on. xxxx

Sandra, I sent you a personal message on a work around. Hope it helps.

I'm happier than a kid on Christmas, Jay!
Woo-hoo!
Now---what's a gal gotta do to get it sent to you and autographed and sent back?
There's gotta be a way.
(Also~as fate would have it, I just watched "The Greatest Story Ever Told" last week on some streaming channel...all fifty-seven-hundred hours of it!)
You crack me up. And I'm a HUGE fan.
(Just to add to the fun, I LOVE me some LIZA!)
You're the cat's meow, Jay!

By now, I've answered this in private messages to you, so now I'm just left with massive appreciation for you! Your review was one of my first for the day, but the ones after that kept piling up and I kept trying to get to yours. Here it is almost 8 PM and I finally cracked the last two. Karenina, you just warm my heart. You are the real deal!

I hear you, Jay! I had cut at least five times and did the pre-publishing that many times, too. But I didn't send it out to "production" until I looked at the various drafts.
I did get your book even before midnight PDT as I had credits and could still get it free! Thanks for letting us all know!

Helen, you are a wonder! Thank you. I'm sitting here looking at four drafts ( a set of two, ordered twice with a lot of corrections in the formatting made between them. And they still came back exactly the same. So a total of about $30 spent on drafts and shipping, just to see the same thing. Finally, though, I stumbled upon "Kindle Create", downloaded it along with Jane Austin's "Pride and Prejudice" to use for practice. After about 4 or 5 hours, I got to understand the system and loaded my manuscript in it. It has the built in Previewer in Kindle, tablet, and telephone style. In about 15 minutes I had it looking the way I wanted it to. And when I loaded it up to Amazon and checked it against their previewer, it was the same. So I went ahead and published it without getting more proofs. The only thing I found out was what you have already discovered for yourself, was that the Chapter numbers were wonky. I'm going to republish it using I, II, III, IV, and V instead of One, Two, etc. But I have to wait until the book is no longer in promotion before I make changes.
By the way, I just finished rereading "The Uneven Zen of Time" and I'm convinced that it was as I said in my post. Someone from some other dimension emptied that story into my brain. At the risk of being boastful, it is the best I have ever written -- or was written for me. Sorry for blathering on so.

That's great that your brain was receptive to that "someone from the other dimension"! 💖😊
Comment from Gloria ....
I think your book cover is eye-popping and should attract people with the noted indecision many of us encounter when faced with such a momentous decision.
Just a couple of points:
So did the sad, driven, Virginia Wolfe, (Woolf)
I thought it was complete for lo these 12 years - Not sure what you mean with "lo"
Much enjoyed this Jay. :))

Thank you, Gloria. I shall correct Woolf. Thanks for pointing it out. "Lo" I have always used as a synonym for "all" as in "for all these twelve years." Maybe I need to look it up. Again, thanks for reading.
