I enjoy reading your piece of New Year's Eve confession.
Yes. Covid19 was serious killer in 2020 and still is in early 2021. I'm optimistic and are very much looking forward to the spring so I can travel again.
Life is not bad though.

Thank you, Lisa. I think writers cope better during the quarantine because we are used to having a solitary nature.

I have gotten so much writing done. I finished my second book called "Chinese Lolita", a short story collection of my mother side of family and I can publish it soon. I also wrote more than 50 poems and started a screen play.

Yeah, It sounds like you've been busy. Feels good, doesn't it?

Jay:
I was following you fine as you were outlining your process
of setting your "rituals" for the upcoming year. Allocating two
hours just before the end of the year certainly would require a
person to stay focused so as to get the job done.
After your comments on Pentatonix, I thought your piece
took on more of a shotgun approach. Even so, I enjoyed what
you had to say,

I commend you for having followed a ritual for fifty years. Impressive. This is well written. It takes the reader into your mind for a moment. I like the repeated slashes thrown at the media. I like how you talked about spring really being the time of change and resolution. I've never really thought about that. The date shouldn't have anything to do with it. If your want to change something, change it! I write that sentence knowing I have failed to take my own advice many times and 2021 will not be any different. Happy New Year!

A sixer! Thanks Krystal. I also believe in making change whenever it is desired or needed. I just do well when I have a special focus day. Now being changed to the spring equinox. Again, thanks.

This passage captured my attention, as usual, the TV fake world put lots of negativity and less hope and optimism in our lives:"COVID--the disease that robbed the world of more than 1.7 million people was renamed "2020" by NBC, with the drop of a gigantic glass ball. I would not have been surprised if, through the magic of TV, that ball had shattered into 1.7 million pieces as it crushed the life out of those four numbers, lined like blindfolded prisoners at its base. "
