This is a nicely written poem with facts and a dancing rhyming scheme. It reads well out loud in rhythm of wings and a spectacular picture. Buona Fortuna in the contest. giovanni

A beautiful tribute to the humble bumblebee on Earth Day. Unfortunately, they are terribly endangered and with their demise- will come the end of life as we know it. We need these little entertainers to sustain this planet.

I love this poem. My favorite line: Though pollen is his main pursuit. I love that 'p' alliteration. Favorite stanza: He moves those wings so fast I'll bet
You'll think you hear a string quartet,
But violins don't swoop or dive -
They certainly don't plunge and rise...
Wish I had a 6 to give this poem.

A very well-written sonnet about the bees who like to perform their buzzing sound while collecting nectar and pollen to make honey to make our tea sweet and healthy.

Great job with this creative poem about some characteristics of the bee. As long as they don't sting us, they are very welcome and fulfill an important role in nature. Bill

Very well done Prompt Entry. I take it you have watched these Bees in action before. They really do play a song while working. I guess it keeps all the bees happy. Best of luck with your entry.

Yes, be kind to bees! They are very important pollinators. I love your line "You'll think you hear a string quartet, but violins don't swoop or dive." I never thought of bees being musicians. Thank you for that lovely thought.

I am jealous. I do not know enough about bees to get creatively into writing a poem about them. This is excellent and I hope you do well in the voting booth, as I surely think you would. It is eye-catching, fun to read,
informative, has a strong and steady beat and flow and simply wonderful.
Good Luck! (I regret I am out of sixes!

What an eloquent sonnet you've written about one of the world's most relentless pollinators, the bee. Your rhymes, the rhythm, your choice of words are all right on point. Your poem is truly exquisite and delightful.

Aeronautic and very skilled player on the nature scene. Nature comes to life with the help of the bees :"Sweet as honey... Mmm, that's his thing
And his finale? Quite a sting!"
Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.
