The words and the picture say it all. I wish I could construct a topiary as well as the arborist who did the work on the bush in the picture. Your word play is excellent with the very descriptive conjunction butt. Outstanding work.

Thank you very much for your wonderful review and rating, it is greatly appreciated.
In most of these short version syllable contests the words should be strong enough to stand on their own without a photo. However, when it comes to humor, the picture most times is funnier then the words.

This entry truly made me chuckle. It is a humor contest is it not? Where did you ever find this picture? It made the pun complete! Humor is often on the edge of being snotty. Another strength in this poem is that it engages the human element.

Thank you for your great review, I appreciate it. Yes, it is a humorous 5-7-5 contest. I'm really glad that it made you chuckle.
I enter mostly humor contests, and as you said, the picture made it even funnier. So, I knock around on the internet looking for funny pictures, mainly on google. When I find what I'm looking for I save it in my photo section on my computer to use when one of these contests come up.

Good idea about keeping pictures in your computer! Unfortunately my iPad doesn?t have one ( or at lease I can?t find one ) I will have to ask.

This little poem is hilarious. I don't know what skilled gardener sculpted that topiary, but he sure knew what he was doing. The picture adds a lot to the poem and I like your word play with "Butt." Very well done. Great job. Good luck with the contest!
