This is terrific - our roadmaps of experience show on our faces, the wrinkles and furrows leaving clues that indicate our age and wisdom of acquired experience over the years.

Indeed life has its mystery, being not much a thinker follow God view "the whole world is deceived", given view good enough for me. Bottom line the world has a lot of loud mouths. All stated in my opinion.

Excellent. You have described the face of age very well. I am 81 and the deepness of my wrinkles could be measured with a ruler. I have so many deep wrinkles, water would stand in them if I laid on my back during a rain. Your writing is well described.

My grandmother died at ninety-two and her face had so much character, that I will always remember her. You make a good point about an older person's face and what it symbolizes. Good luck in the contest.

You have made effective use of all your words in this piece about age
and how it changes appearance, behind which are changing mindsets.
I often study people's expressions, wondering what caused them.

Ain't it the truth. No matter which way you turn or whatever you do you will find that life has imbedded in you the roads you have taken. Some will take you to heaven, but most are a living hell. :0 This is a good entry for the Seven Words or Less Poem contest.

Seven words of wisdom. One picture is better than one thousand words. Of course you picked a wonderful picture to make your words literally rise off the paper they are written on. Good luck!

I like this entry. You point out an aspect of aging most of us neglect.
The trail that marks our travels. We don't always regard the character inherent in an elder's face. Shame on us.
Best of luck at the polls.
Peace, Lee
