I wish you well in your surgery, my husband has had two shoulder surgeries. Your poem has a smooth flow of rhyming words and lines that describe clearly life after the surgery, typing with one hand.

Thank you. I'm an old hand at joint replacement. Had several done already. I dread typing with one hand, though. lol

First, your notes: According to me, thoughts and knots rhyme too. *grin* Best of luck with your surgery tomorrow my friend. You will be in my thoughts and of course, prayer for a quick and painless recovery.
Thank you for sharing yet another form that is new to me, and your clear notes - I will have to give this one a try sometime!

Be patient, you can do a lot of thinking during this time
and cone up with a lot of new works for us to
read. You have the right amount of syllables and rhyme scheme.
Get better soon.

You seem to be describing your upcoming convalescence with a sense of humor. The lighthearted rhyme scheme and meter went a long way to creating that sense. If it only was so easy to throw away shoulders... Well, my heart goes out to you, you have my sympathies; I went through a knee ligament problem and a wrist surgery, so I know how it goes. Months of physical therapy. Make sure you do the excercises they give you. But you'll be OK in a couple of months. Meanwhile we await your next posts. Good luck and may God bless. I once wondered if I would ever again have a day without knee pain, but its all behind me now. estory

That's wonderful. I've had to many things replaced, I'm used to it. My hips have been replaced five times due to bone death. I just hate the 'down' time afterwards.
Thank you for your lovely comments.

Thank you for this update in verse, Yvonne! I like the allouette format - another form you've introduced me, too.
Will be praying that the surgery will go well and the recovery quick!

You're a real trooper to write a poem about surgery. I'd be too hopped up on Xanax to turn the computer on. You, on the other hand, write poetry and good poetry at that.

There are so many types of poetry that I never knew were out there. I am so sorry you have to have surgery, but I'm sure once you are healed up you will be glad you did it. I have heard other say anyway. I wish you a very speedy recovery. Rox
