This was a lovely warm chapter Barbara, and a pleasure to read, daughters are indeed a father's delight and the apple of his eye. In this chapter Anderson assures Benjamin that everything will be done to have his daughter respected and looked after. Brilliant episode my friend, blessings, Roy

Barbara, this is good in more way than one. I have learned much about Jewish culture. The star of David is interesting. The shield of David. I never knew this. Blessings to you.

Anderson continues to reassure Shana's family he will take very good care of her. I think he made a good impression on them. I love his little girl, her honestly is simply charming. I do hope he is able to get some answers to the all too many questions about who is who and where do the Russians' fit into all of this. Very nice work with this chapter and I anxiously look forward to reading the next chapter.

What beautiful writing showing us the wonderful relationship between Emily and her Dad (smiles)
I liked how you told us about the Jewish faith and the history of the star of David.

A fitting chapter for Father's day. A look at how a father is protective of his daughter no matter what age they are.
I loved the interaction between Emily and Benjamin.
Terrific story so far.

Thank you for the encouragement. I was such a daddy's girl. I lost my dad two years ago and I miss him so much. He was always extremely protective of me.

Hi Barbara, this is great writing indeed. The story's moving along nicely.
'you don't need to that' = 'you don't need to do that'
I'm looking forward to reading on. All the best. Ulla:)))

The two men knew the importance of protecting their daughters. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read. There is very good imagery.
