Wow! She told him just in time didn't she. This will be quite an adventure. I can sense it before it even happens. I think
it's wonderful the things our minds can come up with don't you? Good luck with this one too Sandra. You have found your niche. Hugs Nancy

My brain is cursing me though, LOL, it's not used to working so hard. I'm trying to keep the Alzheimer's away! Thank you, my dear friend, for your lovely review. I'm so pleased you are reading it, and more than that, enjoying it. Big hugs, my friend. :) Sandra xxx

Me too. I can't seem to concentrate on anything. xxx

Sometimes I find myself going way, way back into my old memories. They are a comfortable place to be when stressed out. Take care, my friend. :)

Your writing is outstanding as always, and you have drawn me into a story of multiple dimensions, a fantasy of which, I would otherwise avoid. However, you turn fantasy into reality for me, squirming on the edge of my seat. Great job. :-)

Aww, Ric, thank you so very much! That is such a compliment coming from you! A humongous hug is whizzing your way for the six lovely stars, my friend, I'm just so pleased you are enjoying the story. Thank you. :) Sandra xxx

Wow, Sandra, Veronica, is away again, and then so sudden. Good job, she just managed to talk to James and Mildred being able to confirm it all. Phew, I can't wait to see what will happen this time. What a story. I love it.
I hope everything is okay your end. We've picked and sold cherries for the last time today. Now it's catch up time. I'm so behind with everything. Not only on FS but at home as well. But that's how it is. When there's cherries everything else stops.
I can't wait to reading on. A hug. Ulla xxx

I had to laugh when I saw your review, I must have been reviewing yours the same time you were reviewing mine!! Thank you so very much, Ulla, you are such a lovely lady! Thank you for the 6 shiny stars, I really appreciate that.
I bet you're glad the cherry picking is over. What's next? It's hard work, isn't it, but satisfying when it's finished. Big hugs, my friend. :) Sandra xx

Hahaha, we have been writing at the exact same time. Talk about telepathy. No clue if I spelled that correctly. I will read your review right now. xxx

Glad to see that you are continuing this fabulous story. Here you get down to the difficult revelation of Ann to James. Fraught with anxious anticipatio, it went better than expected. Good chapter. Romance can now flourish.

And just in time. But she does not go away physically so I don't understand the statement of her not being there unless you meant she was not there mentally and unreachable. Very well done

No, she will look to be asleep to anyone who sees her, but Ann will know differently. I will have to try and explain it better, you came up with a good one there, Barb! Thank you so much, my dear friend. :) Sandra xx

Wonderful, wonderful job of writing. You described the emotion of this situation perfectly for Veronica, James, and Mildred. Not only that you left us with a great hook.

I took hold of his free hand as he reached to pick up his glass, and then [led I] him into the sitting room. I had a lovely fire blazing in the grate, and the lighting was turned low, making for a cosy setting.
"I asked her who she'd been talking to[o], and her reply was a it was a boy she'd been friends with for a long time who'd lived here before we did...
You may want to have a look at what I've bracketed above.
Thanks for an enjoyable story.
Best,
Apky

Sandra, I did not read the first chapter, but I was able to connect with the characters (james and Veronica). Great dialogue between those two.
I am not kidding, but I was just thinking about you and your family while reviewing the bonus reviewing posts this morning. I said to myself, after I review this morning, I was going to send you a message and ask about your well-being. God led me to your post. How are you, dear?

Thank you, my friend. :) How strange it is the way things happen, I'm sure He did. I'm fine. My daughter-in-law and my brother are still fighting, they are not giving in to the cancer. If they can fight, I can fight alongside them. I have to tell you, I am so proud of them, I hope I would be as brave and strong as they are being. Thank you for asking, my dear friend. Bless your heart! How are you? Big hugs. Sandra xxx
