Thank YOU for this wonderful review and special rating - this poem is close to my heart - I am honored. :0)
I just added another stanza - it came to me, and I couldn't resist adding it! (It's the #2 stanza now.)

A really beautiful rhyming poem about Canada with such lovely backing music. I had the pleasure of crossing Canada by train last year. Sorry but my son stole one of your daughters and is now my beautiful daughter-in-law and she has now given me a beautiful grand daughter.
Best of luck

It's good to see you're using the Queen's English spelling, as we do Dawn, we were settled in 1788, so we're a little older. We are differently accented of course, New Zealanders speak a little like us, but have funny vowel sounds, A has an E sound E an I sound etc. I can pick a Canadian by ou sound, similar to West Country English accent. Well done with this, very clever poem, displaying your considerable versatile talent, so happy birthday Canada, well done, blessings, Roy

Well, I answered this already, but the system kicked me off! I guess I will have to go and clear my cookies again.
It's wonderful to see you, Roy, and thank you!

Absolutely wonderful piece on the whole Canadian scene. Loved the bison and beavers and bears. The peacekeepers is what Canada has always been and I am proud to be a duel citizen of both.
Flow was perfect and rhyme was mesmerizing

YAY! Oh YAY! Thank you, Barb! You couldn't have picked a better poem of mine to praise, my friend - I am SO thrilled. This one is close to my heart, big-time! I love Canada, and have probably seen more of it than 90% of our fellow compatriots. It's the best country in the world, as far as I am concerned. :))
