My sister has been hit with a love that came quickly. They are devoted to each other and spend all the time they can together. It hasn't been a month yet since they meant. My sister lost her husband three years ago and he lost his wife twenty-three years ago. I am so happy for her. Your poem says it all--it can leave quickly, too. Nicely done.

How often do we have blessings and fail to thank the one who gave us those blessings. Just yesterday the son I gave up for adoption when I was a baby and found when he was 35 showed up on my doorstep for a one day visit. I was blessed and God is awesome.

In a few simple words and lines you have told a love story with a beginning, middle, and end. Although the end is disappointment for the speaker there is an energy in the poem that is hard to get in such a short piece. Well done

A nice short one :) I like your take on this picture challenge. I'm at the point where I see that picture and say to myself, "oh no not another one". You, however, have pleasantly surprised me. I like your theme of love. I like your metaphors about love arriving like crashing waves and leaving like the ebb and flow of low tide.
