At first glance, this one-six-one does not say much (really a silly form that I have only encountered on this site). But you did manage a triple monorhyme and a play on the phrase "true blue". Good luck in the contest.

This one-six-one, Blue, goes a long way to prove that blue is indeed your favorite color. Between the stunning visual, bold background, and direct statement, within the allotted syllable count, this poem pushes its way into the reader's memory. Nice.

The only requirement of the 1-6-1, apart from the syllable count is that all three line should rhyme. In this simple statement of preference, the sylable count is correct and all three lines rhyme.
