This is a romance poem coloured with positive paints. I love the flow and the gentle rhythm. The composition and rendition of the poem is inviting and enchanting. Nicely done.

Each line has been so passionately written that all of them are gripping. Metaphors of color have been used imaginatively. I liked most the lines:
' sprinkle flecks of gold in my eyes to reflect my desire
for you shining through, splash my cheeks rose petal
pink for the look of satisfaction'

Hi Justafan. Exquisite. This was an artists calling to paint you as you are. I liked the flecks of gold part. Excellent format, symmetry and proportion achieved reflecting an eternal flame of the soul. Cheers.

First, I tried for bloomin hours to get this shape with larger font. Without throwing something, I settled. I apologize for the smallness of the font.
Now, this explosive review you left ... I am over the moon with this!!! Blushing!
Thank you so very much. XX

Missy

Color me green with envy for the one who captured the heart and emotions of one so gifted in the art of expression. Your words are beautiful, they induce a longing in me to be someone's, anyone's source of longing, wanting, desiring. Whew!

A wonderfully descriptive and romantic poem. I love the imagery in it. The background and font colour is stunning. This is truly spectacular.

I really enjoyed reading this piece. The shape of the poem is interesting and you used lovely, expressive vocabulary. Nice hidden alliteration too- passion/palette- eyes/earthiness. The warmth of the colours and the sense of forward movement, made it feel really exciting to read.

Hi justafan,
Thanks for sharing this poem comparing your love to a painter - the metaphor is very apt and interesting to ponder. I also love the picture you have chosen to accompany this - or rather, inspired this. Artistically, yours Raoul :)

This is pleasing. The font is a bit tiny for me but my eyes are older than other readers, I am sure. Great metaphor in the use of painting and canvas.
