this is an excellent limerick, mystery writer, and using the true words of nature to give comfort to the armadillo. I wish you the best of luck in the contest.

This is very good, follows all the rules, lines 9,9,6,6,9 in good limerick form and you choose a good animal, unusual, and I like the mention of armour plating ol' plating in line 4. Nice way it is written, Texas style lingo. Good luck in the contest. Kind regards Dorothy

Dear Author;
I liked your limerick very much and it had its moments and the imaginative inventive and creative cleverness and wittiness was truly define in your limerick.
The limerick itself the wording A bit choppy in the middle and the topic with a little bit risqué from my taste but that is not the issue. The smoothness is.
Thank you for sharing and posting this for everyone to read and may the good Lord be with you always.
Alex
PS: good luck in the contest for this is an excellent entry in my views are just particularly my own.

I'm glad I stopped by to read this because I love limericks and you classified it as general. I live in Texas and am familiar with Armadillos. I thoroughly enjoyed your whimsical poem. Hugs, Lou

Clever little ditty with a twist of the fine mint julep thrown in. Great rhyme scheme and visuals. Best of luck in the contest. I didn't see any grammatical or spelling errors.

clever rhyming in good limerick pattern
when I read this aloud it has just the right inflection/cadence for the traditional limerick, and that is something many fail to achieve
good alliteration in plump pussy
and an appropriately risque play on words in your closing :-)
I know I'm laughing. Brooke

Thanks, Brooke.
I'm glad you got the ending - seems it was a little too subtle for many - knew I should have replaced 'frigerating with fornicating.

VERY INNOVATIVE LIMERICK. CLEVER USE OF WORDS FOR RHYMING. AN UNUSUAL SUBJECT. REALLY NICE AND WITTY. FINE 'FRIGERATING.

'Southern Comfort' is an extremely well-written and entertaining piece. This talented poet's work was a pleasure to both read and review.

Clever idea in good limerick form.
Excellent humour on show.
Love the use of the colloquial language in the armadillo's answer: "For fine 'frigerating
I roll this ol' plating
On juicy and plump pussy willow."
solid use of alliteration to aid flow: plump pussy
Good luck in the contest.
