This is quite the morbid and hideous story ever.
You have certainly captured drama, intrigue and mystery rolled up into one ominous story.
I pray to God your observation in your notes that there is
"NO TRUTH" to it's findings.

This is some story! I am sadden that this was true. The story had me captivated from beginning to end. While reading, I could almost feel what mark was feeling. Very captivating, and well written.

Many have escaped death by autopsy. Many more have not. I hope we do not do what we did to make sure we don't bury the live ones. We insist on embalming everyone. They are dead for sure when we bury them. I have never seen the attraction to eating poison. Life is risky enough. Great work. Good luck with the contest.

I like this very original version of the buried-alive story. You have done an excellent job of setting the scene and using interior MONOLOG to tell this story. There 's plenty of suspense as we wonder if the pathologist will see that tiny movement for what it REALLY is. I like how the story ends with us still not sure.

An excellently crafted horror story. Attention to detail enhanced by the "deceased"'s point of view makes it especially grim. It should do very well in the contest. :) nancy

What a terrifying experience for Mark. This story apparently was inspired the facts of true experiences and was written dramatically. Whoever the author of this is you have a special talent . Your eloquent language leaves nothing to be desired. I wish you luck in the contest. If I had a 10 you would get it.

Hi,
This is such a great story, so eerie and would make for a great mystery novel. You certainly held my attention from the very beginning. I could see the autopsy room, feel the cool metal table and hear the buzzing of the saw. Well done.
Best of luck in the contest.
Bye
Rosalyne :)

Now this tale was delicious! Not only did you bring this story to life with your excellent wording, you brought to life the fear of many people. The thought that we are not really dead, but still alive somewhat, is truly terrifying. This gruesome tale is beyond excellent! Wonderful job!

Very good my friend. Good take on the story and another brilliantly written piece and what a horrible thing to happen to someone. Good luck in the contest, but I don't think you'll need it.

This was very well done, and the author's note was informative and down right frightening, no errors noted and good luck in the contest.
