You are convincing me that you are a great entertainer. When you can make your own miseries laughable this indicates a great propensity for entertaining others. I truly enjoyed the read and thank you for sharing your artistry with me. Your friend, Bob

Oh, wow. You blind-sided me with this one. I expected a totally different ending. Because I expected something different, I was very moved by your ending. So-much-so, that I actually welled up with tears. You picked your words carefully to best convey your thoughts. The placement of your words to suggest the sticky-notes fluttering to the ground was clever and very effective/affective. Everything about this piece was good. I find nothing to be problematic. Good luck in the contest.

Suzanne

I loved this. The way it seems to ramble on and on, but each line is nestled into its own correct place. Lovely job, my friend. Good luck with this.

Really amazing work. You have a way with words for sure. I love the way you have the words fall like the sticky notes in the poem. Great work and congrats on the recognition.

What an intriguing, emotional poem. This was one of those times where I wanted to stop reading because it was too much for me, but then I had to finish reading. Great job!

I would guess the poem is about love that we can impart and receive every day. Others would probably say we are in a rut, or that we go through the motions, or that we are a mid-life crisis waiting to happen. Only the subjects, we know, this is the way we impart love with every breath. Love is not only to be felt at sixteen, passion seems to be missing sometimes, but if we like and wish to impart love, we find the way.

Powerful imagery..... a definite "whistling past the graveyard" vibe at the start, slowly evolving into melancholy....and then sliding into sorrow. Very nicely done.

Nothing precarious. All precise, present and correct .. love the images that come to my head - nice alliteration.

Love the slo -o-w motion!

Nicely done ... I smiled as I have a brief insight into the present circumstances . You're missing him, aren't you?? :)

My daughters were away for a year on international exchange - one's just got back, the other returns on Sunday - while they were away, their rooms were in beautiful, magazine cover shape .... not any more! You created stark, marvelous pictures in my head.

Great work, Twinnie. A fine start to my reviewing week.
